ATTENTION!!!

The Cinderella Project is happening soon.  Don't miss this great opportunity to get prepared for Prom for free .  This event will be held this Saturday, March 13th and next Saturday on March 20th  at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, 405 King St.  The Cinderella Project provides free new and gently used designer Prom dresses to local girls.  There will also be style consultants, gift bags and door prizes. Communities In Schools will provide transportation if enough girls sign up. For more information, please see Mr. Fox located in the Guidance department

Attention Teachers, Students, Parents and Community!!!

The School District's security team will be using a new visitor management system called "Raptor."
This new security system is designed to ensure student and faculty safety and standardize visitor access procedures across the district.
  • As a  first time visitor to any school in the district, you will need your driver's license information to be scanned and entered into the system. (After the first visit to a school, visitors can be "quick searched" by name and will not have to repeatedly go through this process.) A state-issued photo ID can also be used if visitors do not have a driver's license.
  •  The system will run the visitor's information against the National Sexual Offender Registry, and schools will be trained on the appropriate steps in the event of a match.
  •  The system prints out a visitor badge. Everyone in the building should have a CCSD badge or visitor badge.
For more information about this new system, please visit:  http://www.postandcourier.com/news/2010/feb/08/schools-plan-to-update-visitor-security-system/  and read the article provided by post and courier.

Congratulations!!!
