Burke Students on National Television

Burke Students on National Television

Burke Students  The 9th grade Geo-Science class has been working extremely hard the last few months on their Seas to Shoreline project. The project focuses on preventing coastline erosion throughout the East Coast by restoring oyster beds, growing and planting spartina grass, and bagging oyster shells. The project came to a head when the students won the Champions of the Environment Award and will receive recognition all week long (April 22-26) on National Television.  Not only the students, but Burke High School will be showcased on the following networks listed below. My personal favorites will be Modern Family and Dateline.  So if you watch any of these shows, please keep a look out for our school and all the hard work that we have done. For those of you in the streaming world, here is a link to the commercial.
